We’re Finally Getting a New Priest!

At long last…it seems like it’s been quite awhile!  We have managed to carry on through the use of visiting priests interspersed by Sundays where someone in the congregation led “Morning Prayer” services and, more recently, the generosity of a retired priest who drives a long distance every week to help us out–and he’s been amazing.

But I’m really excited about settling in with a new priest.   I’m intrigued by the fact that he received his seminary education at Nashotah House — which I think is where I would want to go if I were going to go to seminary.

Our new priest starts August 14.  I pray he rightly discerned the call to our church and that we’ll all be good for one another.

About katiekind

Enjoying the second half of life. I have three sons who are the apples of my eye and a wonderful husband of 35 years--those are the important things. Long ago, out of the blue, I became a Christian. It was something I never planned on, but what joy it has been. I do website development and I like to read and garden and paint and I love beauty and truth.
