Isn’t This Beautiful?

This is via Art Inconnu, a blog that features little-known artists. This painting is by Baccio Maria Bacci (1888-1974). I would love to see it larger. There’s so much of interest and the colors are so beautiful. The attitudes of all the people are so telling–except the mysterious woman silhouetted in the window. And isn’t there a bird on the wine decanter?

About katiekind

Enjoying the second half of life. I have three sons who are the apples of my eye and a wonderful husband of 35 years--those are the important things. Long ago, out of the blue, I became a Christian. It was something I never planned on, but what joy it has been. I do website development and I like to read and garden and paint and I love beauty and truth.
