Back from Wyoming

I had a wonderful few days visiting my mother and family in Wyoming.  My mother, I am proud to say, has worked tirelessly to bring to make what was a dream into a reality:  the building of a modern, beautiful history museum in her community.  http://www.washakiemuseum.org/ I’m so proud of the work she has done.  My brothers and I were all there for the grand opening gala party event, and mom also was a featured performer during the first part of the evening, playing piano for half an hour, so it was a double treat for me.

As usual we weren’t too good about getting photographs but I do have a couple and I hope those involved don’t mind if I post them.

Mom and her youngest grandchild…and all of us out to dinner at Trapper Creek Lodge.

About katiekind

Enjoying the second half of life. I have three sons who are the apples of my eye and a wonderful husband of 35 years--those are the important things. Long ago, out of the blue, I became a Christian. It was something I never planned on, but what joy it has been. I do website development and I like to read and garden and paint and I love beauty and truth.
