Family, work, baseball, prom….

The “lots of everything all at once” theme has continued on but next week things may let up a bit.  We had #1 son out here for a visit for a couple days which made for an enjoyable time and some nice family dinners with him, son #2 and son #3  (cauliflower cheese soup one night and fish tacos another night); state baseball championship this morning in Lexington (they were eliminated in the first round, sadly) and prom tonight.  Son #3 took a sweet young lady, and we went to the “Grand March” event with her parents.  That was fun–and different.  My older kids, being homeschooled, didn’t have a prom, and neither Scott nor I were interested in stuff like proms when we were in high school.

Also this week I launched a client’s website, made a good start on the new one, and did miscellaneous stuff for Sara’s website.

The roses started blooming this week and I took some over to my little neighbor lady who’s been having a tough time.

About katiekind

Enjoying the second half of life. I have three sons who are the apples of my eye and a wonderful husband of 35 years--those are the important things. Long ago, out of the blue, I became a Christian. It was something I never planned on, but what joy it has been. I do website development and I like to read and garden and paint and I love beauty and truth.
