A sermon about pain and suffering

My blog friend Adam McHugh posted links to a couple of his sermons, and having never heard him preach, I gave one a listen. Whoa. Turns out my blog friend Adam McHugh is QUITE the preacher. Here is a sermon he gave at Irvine Presbyterian on pain and suffering. Adam was — at the time he gave it — a hospice chaplain, and is neither maudlin nor cavalier on the subject of pain and suffering. I urge you to give it a listen if you need some encouragement.

Edited to add…if the link above does not work for you, you can go to Adam’s blog, and click on the link that says “Irvine Presbyterian Church”.

About katiekind

Enjoying the second half of life. I have three sons who are the apples of my eye and a wonderful husband of 35 years--those are the important things. Long ago, out of the blue, I became a Christian. It was something I never planned on, but what joy it has been. I do website development and I like to read and garden and paint and I love beauty and truth.

Sorry, Indie, I added a link to Adam’s blog by which you can get to the sermon. I should have done that in the first place anyways!
