My mom tipped me off to this good recipe: Savory Ham and Leek Quiche
If you are a recipe snob, try not to be put off by the fact that it is on the Kraft foods site and calls for Oscar Meyer smoked ham and Kraft swiss cheese. It’s good that way but you can certainly make subsititutions. I usually shred up a block of swiss cheese, and tonight, in place of the ham, I substituted the leftover smoked “butt roast” that my neighbor brought over in a big ziplock bag the other night. It was good again. The recipe omits salt and pepper; we find it needs some.
But this is a recipe that goes together easily and is absolutely delicious.
