“Bach, With Two Notes…He Can Build a Cathedral”

Here is a lovely and very touching advance clip from an upcoming, new documentary about the music of Bach from the point of view of world class musicians who have loved his music.  The filmmaker is  Michael Lawrence Films and the project is sponsored in part by the Glenn Gould Foundation.

About katiekind

Enjoying the second half of life. I have three sons who are the apples of my eye and a wonderful husband of 35 years--those are the important things. Long ago, out of the blue, I became a Christian. It was something I never planned on, but what joy it has been. I do website development and I like to read and garden and paint and I love beauty and truth.

Lovely and touching indeed. That clip brought tears to my eyes. I’ve always said the only music I’d need on a desert island would be Bach.

Please let me know if you find out anything more about the film!

Yeah, Scott and I were blinking back the tears too. The film looks like it’s going to be good! There are a bunch of clips on Youtube, including one with oldest in it, which is how I found out about it. ;-)

There are several other great clips of interviews on Youtube. I hope the movie will come out soon!
