Honoring Fathers

I’ve gotten Barb trained on how to scan her work and upload the images to Etsy, and she’s been doing great. The downside is we don’t get together as often. At the same time, it was a God-breathed opportunity for us when we got together early this spring–I had a big hole in my schedule and had been praying about what I would do with all my time. And then as soon as Barb became proficient at scanning and uploading on her own, I had a sudden surge of paying work. The Lord worked this out beautifully for both of us.

Above is a neat picture she created to honor dads on Father’s Day.  And below is another one.  I think she has a hunting and fishing themed one as well.  I really like these.  She adds the names of the children in the family to the golf balls on this one below, or depicts the children on the sailboat in the one above, adding their names to the boat.  It takes a little advance planning to work this out but it’s a neat idea for Father’s Day.

About katiekind

Enjoying the second half of life. I have three sons who are the apples of my eye and a wonderful husband of 35 years--those are the important things. Long ago, out of the blue, I became a Christian. It was something I never planned on, but what joy it has been. I do website development and I like to read and garden and paint and I love beauty and truth.
