Middlest is moving back to our town!

I am so excited about this! Middle son (depicted in the father-son photo below) is moving back to the area! I have thought of nothing else all day. The last time he lived in our town, he was a college student living at home. It will be interesting to bridge to the new scenario: an adult son who lives in our community, but not with us. That sounds pretty neat to me! Pray for him as he wraps up his affairs, says goodbye and organizes his move across country. That’s no picnic.

About katiekind

Enjoying the second half of life. I have three sons who are the apples of my eye and a wonderful husband of 35 years--those are the important things. Long ago, out of the blue, I became a Christian. It was something I never planned on, but what joy it has been. I do website development and I like to read and garden and paint and I love beauty and truth.

We have two sons that live within walking distance of us. It is just fantastic! They are completely independent of us, but we see them all the time. It’s a great arrangement! They like it too.

Oh, wow! Has he found a new position in your area? I think it is good that he spent time in a different state for awhile. . .

He is hoping to make a big career change, from being in the IT industry to writing for a living and doing freelance computer work. What’s great is that he’s got some time to explore it.

How exciting! Does he have a time when he’s planning to make the move? That is a big process (and not fun, I completely agree).

Very soon, Leah! I think he’ll be here by the end of the month.
