For John

One Fish Two Fish, a cup of coffee, and two of the greatest kids in the world. Life was good.

About katiekind

Enjoying the second half of life. I have three sons who are the apples of my eye and a wonderful husband of 35 years--those are the important things. Long ago, out of the blue, I became a Christian. It was something I never planned on, but what joy it has been. I do website development and I like to read and garden and paint and I love beauty and truth.

Yes, life was good when we had little ones! I was just reminicing with Steve about the good old days. My kids kept me busy with the most wonderful activities! Can’t wait to be a grandma!

I had a stark realization today. . . an upsetting one. . . about just how old my kids are now and how soon they’ll be stretching their wings. And I know that big kids need parenting, too. (I know my parents did a lot of hand holding for me, the older I got and still do. ..) But still. . .
