Garden Log March 14

It rained in the morning, and I was busy helping my friend Barb (aka sweetb) set up her blog.  That link goes to her Etsy shop; the blog is not quite ready.

Then in the afternoon when I noticed it had stopped raining, I went out and did some pruning. From year to year, I never feel like I know what I’m doing, but the roses are very forgiving. My hands, however, are very tired!

Here’s a link with some rose pruning tips: http://www.urbanext.uiuc.edu/roses/prune.html

Enjoying the second half of life. I have three sons who are the apples of my eye and a wonderful husband of 35 years--those are the important things. Long ago, out of the blue, I became a Christian. It was something I never planned on, but what joy it has been. I do website development and I like to read and garden and paint and I love beauty and truth.
