We’re Russian Around

Scott and I finished reading The Brothers Karamazov and to celebrate we had Russian Cabbage Pie for dinner tonight.  From the moment I saw the ingredient list to the moment I laid the cooked pie on the table and began to serve it, I did not cease to doubt and say, “I don’t know how good this is going to be…”

Until the first forkful.  It was VERY good.

The Brothers were also very, very good.

About katiekind

Enjoying the second half of life. I have three sons who are the apples of my eye and a wonderful husband of 35 years--those are the important things. Long ago, out of the blue, I became a Christian. It was something I never planned on, but what joy it has been. I do website development and I like to read and garden and paint and I love beauty and truth.

Well, yeah, the eggs make it sound a bit odd… but anything with lots of cabbage and mushrooms in it should be good! Maybe I’ll get up enough courage to try this one sometime. :)
