Childhood Christmases

After my chores were done today I was poking around on the internet looking for a Christmas picture to decorate my desktop with and bumped into Senses Working Overtime, a blog that (among other things) collects retro-ish Christmas book covers and illustrations and obscure old Christmas music. These two covers look familiar to me. I think the Frosty book might have belonged to my younger siblings or perhaps we had it for our own children. The other book…I can’t say for sure but it looks like the kind of book I loved when I was very young.

About katiekind

Enjoying the second half of life. I have three sons who are the apples of my eye and a wonderful husband of 35 years--those are the important things. Long ago, out of the blue, I became a Christian. It was something I never planned on, but what joy it has been. I do website development and I like to read and garden and paint and I love beauty and truth.
