Around the Cyber Water Cooler

Years and years ago I had a job…yes I did. I worked at a large chain grocery store. One of the best parts of the job was the sharing of jokes. There were the regular joke tellers…the guys who collected jokes. And there were the people who were just…funny. Both kinds made my days richer. I don’t work outside the home anymore but I DO like funny things still. Running into funny things on blogs reminds me of those old days.

Today’s funny things… Angry 365 Days a Year (who sounds like he might know a thing or two about insults) waxes nostalgic in When Insults Had Class. First I laughed, then I read them to Scott, and then I missed my Dad. If he were still alive, I would have sent him that link to amuse him–he was a connoisseur of cleverly crafted language.

And Brant Hansen offers excerpts from his new book on leadership.

About katiekind

Enjoying the second half of life. I have three sons who are the apples of my eye and a wonderful husband of 35 years--those are the important things. Long ago, out of the blue, I became a Christian. It was something I never planned on, but what joy it has been. I do website development and I like to read and garden and paint and I love beauty and truth.
