The Camry’s Down for the Count

Hopefully just down and not out…but we’re going to be a one-car family for a month or two, it seems.   After initially wondering how that would work out, with three drivers in the family,  I’m now enjoying the challenge.

About katiekind

Enjoying the second half of life. I have three sons who are the apples of my eye and a wonderful husband of 35 years--those are the important things. Long ago, out of the blue, I became a Christian. It was something I never planned on, but what joy it has been. I do website development and I like to read and garden and paint and I love beauty and truth.

Kathy, I was without a car for several months about 10 years ago. I dreaded the inconvenience and feelings of being “trapped”. But, it wasn’t like that at all. I knew I had to stay home most of the time, and I just settled in and enjoyed it. It was very peaceful. Much less stress. I actually spent more time with the kids doing homey-type projects and I cooked a lot more. And I always got where I needed to go.
