Sixty-five Degrees, Dry and Sunny

It was so sunny and pleasant and warm.  This weather is California-esque.  J23, Scott and I sat outside on the back patio and talked, and then I sprayed the roses for blackspot and raked leaves into protective coverings for the roses that are zone pushers:

Clementina Carbonieri

Oklahoma

Belinda’s Dream

William Shakespeare 2000

Granada

Those last two are supposed to be fine in our zone, but had trouble last winter.

About katiekind

Enjoying the second half of life. I have three sons who are the apples of my eye and a wonderful husband of 35 years--those are the important things. Long ago, out of the blue, I became a Christian. It was something I never planned on, but what joy it has been. I do website development and I like to read and garden and paint and I love beauty and truth.
