I passed up an opportunity to vote for someone whose son goes to high school with my son, whose wife was a staple at the baseball field a couple of years ago when our boys played together on the team their family business sponsered. He is running for state representative. I was going to vote for him but in the end, I voted for the other candidate–the incumbent. As I looked into the situation, it seemed that both candidates were equally decent people, equally well-intentioned, and equally likely to represent our area with intelligence and integrity.  It’s really nice to look at a political situation like this and feel that it’s hard to go wrong either way the election turns out.

About katiekind

Enjoying the second half of life. I have three sons who are the apples of my eye and a wonderful husband of 35 years--those are the important things. Long ago, out of the blue, I became a Christian. It was something I never planned on, but what joy it has been. I do website development and I like to read and garden and paint and I love beauty and truth.
